The folks over at Codemasters, the creators of the Dirt rally-racing franchise have picked up on just how much fun wrecking others can be and the result is Dirt Showdown – an unabashed arcade-style racer that we recently were lucky enough to demo.

Hey wait a minute! I tought Colin Mcrae Rally will be the real old Colin Mcrae Rally. But this is really starting to get out of hand :/ This here is like Rally Flatout or something. I mean why is now everywhere Ken Block. THIS IS KEN BLOCK RALLY NOT SOME FREAKING COLIN MCRAE. He is dead and its over. Still the best but Dead. Ken doesnt eaven know how to take a corner with hes soooo cool fiesta or what ever.

Rewinding is bad in racing games. If you screw up, you screw up. You don’t see rewinds in shooters or sports games, if you miss the goals you don’t get to rewind and keep shooting until you get it in. If you screw up you should just restart the race, not rewind and have another go at the corner that you keep screwing up on.

The whole course with no crashes and beat the times, then dirt 2 came out with rewind and killed the game never played any dirt game since

I was really excited, but then when words like accessible are used.
Also when the fuck is grid 2 coming out?
Finally there seperating all the shit stuff and the rally stuff. At last us true rally fans can play a game of just rally instead of all the other crap. And all the stupid shit will be in a seperate games let the men play dirt 4 all the little kids can play showdown.
Theres no point of whining about that uu this is not the Dirt game i have played.Honestly i think that this game is a good idea because a good smash and race game is waht i have waited for a long time since Flatout 2.And we will still get the Dirt 4 which will be the Dirt game that we all know nad like…
So they’re doing with Dirt what EA did with NFS. I can’t wait to see how this is going to end.
